Two Pillars Remain

A story of a village and its people

We’d be like to introduce an historical story about a village in the Northern Central Region of Quang Binh province. The book is called Two Pillars Remain.
The Author is Sue Fleming. It’s a forgotten village now, but this story, invokes its memory.

The area the story is based, outside of the National Park of Phong Nha. Between what are now the village areas of Khuong Ha and Cu Nam.

I have just finished reading this book by Sue Fleming. It's really well written and an insight in to what it must have been like for the people of Cu Nam. If you're in Phong Nha I'd definitely recommend picking a copy up from the Phong Nha Farmstay. It's a short but very powerful story and really puts in to perspective how hot I think it is while having the freedom and luxury to cool off with a dip in the pool. The suggested donation is 100,000vnd and all proceeds go towards the restoration of Cu Nam museum.
