Tips for daily motorbike rental Phong Nha:
- Bring your passport with you and keep in mind that most motorbike rental places in Phong Nha will want to keep it until you give the bike back. If you want to keep it for longer, then you might be able to negotiate a way to leave a bigger deposit instead.
- The amount of deposit money varies from place to place and depends on how long you would like to rent a motorbike for.
- Renting a motorbike for exploring Phong Nha is priced at a flat rate, but when renting to travel to Hue or Hoi An, for example, the longer you have the bike for, the better your deal gets.
- Check your contract carefully as it should be in English and have all necessary details: deposit amount, rental price, and till what date you’ve got the motorbike rental until.
- Check your motorbike carefully for any/all damages. If you notice anything, tell the staff about it and take a picture of the damage. Otherwise, sometime you’ll end up paying for something you didn’t damage, this is the safest way to show it wasn’t you!
